A top ranked San Francisco venture partnership firm sought 100% control of a vertical market software company that played in a small but profitable software market segment.

With little published marketing research available, a custom proprietary study was required. A number of key factors needed to be understood prior to the investment: market share, customer satisfaction, customer budget forecasts, and maintenance renewal rates. Complicating the situation, the San Francisco based venture partners needed to see the results quickly.
